I think the database still exists and the PHP is safe and sound on my Linux computer, but the question is, can I be bothered to re-upload the site? Considering the amount of effort I put into updating it on a regular basis, I reckon no, at least for the moment. Sorry!
If you’re really good, you might get a rejigged site in the distant future. However, this would involve thinking up something interesting and low-maintenance to stick up on it, which is the difficult part.

Man. Call that an ISP? They even took a ridiculous five minutes to send your MySQL details when you asked. Five minutes! An outrage.
No, to be fair, except for the lack of backups in their CGI space (apparently a ‘value-added service’ with nowhere near the resilience of their main homepage hosting area), Plusnet are very good. Quick responses to queries, great ADSL speeds, and very accommodating policies.
Just wanted to clear that up.
